My interpretation of sexual fluidity was that rather that being one particular number on the Kinsey scale, a person may be a short range of numbers and which number they expressed was due to circumstance.

Eg someone could be 5-6. They could be expressing a 6 and then over time start being a 5. It's not saying one day you are a 0 then the next day you turn into a 6.
