However, it makes an excellent illustration for the original point of this thread, which has gone far afield of its purpose thanks to the distracting digressions of a few with personal axes to grind:

MickeyLee, who had never run afoul of the site rules before and is generally known for not saying anything unkind to most anyone, was summarily and permanently banned without warning or progressive sanction for her supposed "harassment" of a single member, which consisted merely of displaying that member's own words.

Hickboy, who has had a less squeaky-clean record of participation here and who has arguably one of the more outspoken and contentious personas here, has received a temporary ban following other warning for harassing multiple members of the site.

One doesn't even need to step into this pile to know that it stinks something awful.

Yeah, I really don't get why she didn't just get a temp ban. It doesn't make sense to me from my vantage point.

That's a shame. She's funny, clever and very cute in an 80% gay woman kinda way (forget her actual percentages, but they'd fluctuate): near as I could ever tell, the big dick wasn't her draw here. Rather it was the community that kept her coming back.

I have no doubts that at least some of her posts were flagged, though I have no idea to what extent the mods chose to respond, when, nor in what fashion. But she might well have earned the rep, at least among certain mods, as something of a "troublechild", a moniker which would no doubt make her smile :biggrin1:

I hadn't thought of that at all, that some of her posts could have been flagged. But then, she would have been warned right? And I'm relatively certain she has never ever received a warning here for anything; I would have to 100% confirm that with her though.
