It makes me sad that religious people are often the most unforgiving.

Can't and won't are excuses for not being a human being.

Well, I guess YOUR foot stomping is what counts- no one else's.

Well, no sense being cryptic as far as I'm concerned. This is about Spoogesicle, who was Danny, aka Doublemeatwhopper. He's been here for a while, minding his ps and qs, but Pecker decided that we don't forgive people who make mistakes around here- that's just not going to be our modus operandi.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, tons of people knew about it, and were just happy to have him around. It seems more like a case of sour grapes on his part for not being in the know. Perhaps it's because of the ungentlmanly way he responded to learning of Danny's troubles and why he faked his death to begin with- who would let someone like THAT in on the fact that the guy had found a way to communicate with the people he missed and who missed him? Judgemental people make me sick.

Somehow I sincerely doubt this was an agreement reached by moderator consensus. This is a case of Pecker being what his name suggests.

Sorry, I didn't know this was a cryptic post. I thought I was joining into some more fun Et Cetera foolishness ala Hickboy.

I will not take part in this argument.

Thanks for Making that clearer MZ. I did feel like I was missing the point somewhere when reading this thread.

I was not around when the Danny episode was unfolding but I have read some of the relevant threads.

It does seem pretty harsh action considering some folks have known and enjoyed having him here and no further TOS have been breached. I don't hold with rule are rules - no two cases are ever the same and circumstances should always be taken into account.

This is a message board ! In high court they take mitigating circumstances into account when appropriate - even for serious crime.

If it's banning season, then will someone get on and ban SanDiego68 already, who has been trolling and insulting members, and whose previous ID, duracock9x6, is already banned?

That would be a productive move imho.

    That is all.

Must be very comfortable to be in such a position of authority that you don't have to answer to anybody. It's a fucking message board, Pecker. Get off your high horse. I had no idea when you sent me that note yesterday that you were planning to do anything about it. I hope you feel good about yourself for being judge, jury and executioner.

edit- real nice how you were pretending to "just let me know of a possible security breach" when you knew exactly what was going on. You're fucking creepy.

My greatgrandmother would say, "That's too much like RIGHT."

There are, by my estimation, exactly 4 people who continue to have issue with him being here. I am so gald that no one person can make me want to either stay or leave. Can you imagine giving someone else that kind of power? I can't.

Sorcerer once said to me, "Carrying resentment is like drinking poison and expecting it to kill the other person." That helped me get over a BF who dumped me after 15 months over email without cause or explanation.

Oh well. In other news, therapists will continue to make tons of money.

No, but he has the power to make grown men quiver with fear.

I need to call him and get some of that mojo.

That is stroke on the level of Oprah.

Oh thanks, now I have to clean diet Mountain Dew off my screen.

No, he's just a guy who is very likeable, but sadly made some bad choices. He tried to explain/apologise for it, but after nearly a YEAR *some people* prefer to hold resentments than to listen, and perhaps learn something. This is a missed opportunity.

What you said about every situation being unique is valuable. It cannot be denied that Danny had a great deal of impact on this site growing to the point that it has. He was here from nearly the beginning (1999/2000, something like that) and MANY of us older members like Lex and myself joined primarily because of him. It's a big deal to US because he has been a big deal to us, and still is.

Few people reached out to as many as he did, and I think it's a shame to lose his contributions.

Well, I'm polite enough not to stare, but some of the strippers went positively mad over his crotch! If he was straight, he would have been laid many times. I was lucky to get him out of there unraped!

Why not start a poll and make a case to the current Mod team? If enough people join in then it might be worth a try.
