I've heard from M. Rouge, and she sends her love. She came through surgery well and with zero complications. They're keeping her pretty doped up for the time being though.

Very best of luck with the operation and recovery.....
My mother had a similar operation a number of years ago and I'll never forget going to visit the women's ward after, because they'd all had the similar operations and were encouraged to expel the wind.... and did they.
I don't know which was funniest, the musical farting or the ripples of raucous laughter it caused among them.
