No fucking way it will come back into style for me. Super hairy bush makes eating pussy suck ass. I love to eat pussy, but eating super hairy pussy is just annoying and gross. Your spit gets caught up in it, and turns frothy white, starts to stink, hairs keep getting in the way, at least one hand must constantly be keeping the hairs out of the way instead of grabbing ass or rubbing titty or stomach... If the big bush has been shampooed, you get that slight soapy taste in your mouth. It's just so much damn worse than a shaved or trimmed pussy.

And I don't give a fuck about all that "natural beauty" shit. Women who say that still cut and style their hair, still wash their face. If they are going to be natural they might as well just walk around town naked with a giant frizzed out fro that drags to their toes, never wipe their ass, or cut their toenails. It's just hygiene.

Ew. Your vivid descriptions made me want to puke just now. Thanks for that. LOLOL

Dasleezard, your "shrub" sounds like the ideal pussy for females to have. Natural, bikini waxing understandable. Clean and smells great. The two other female posters who expressed self consciousness ought to read your post very intently. I think it shows how a woman can be confident with a bush or "shrub." The unfortunate thing is that shaving has been mainstreamed for so long that women (especially young women, who perhaps have never known any other way) think pubic hair is gross or foreign. (I don't mean "foreign" in an ethnic way.) But with assertive women like you, Dasleezard, who blog about it being better, more and more women will grow out their bushes, and that fear/self consciousness will fade away. I love my wife and I will always be faithful, but part of me wishes I could be in the game to see all these hairy pussies sprout up again!

I've got a shrub. Maintained, but still noticeable. Kind of like one of them bushes that people have on their lawns that get cut into a neat shape. Mostly, I just shave the bikini line, so I don't get strays poking out me undies. Other than that, I wash EVERY! DAMN! DAY! So people who say that shrub is unsanitary really has issues with soap and water.
Word! I shave the labia, and the perimeter, and once every three or four months, I trim the rest. Bedtime is bath time every day at my house, and I've never had problem nor complaint until the end of my dating days. When things were still a little ambiguous between the man I eventually married and I, I shaved my mound almost totally bald once because I accidentally shaved really unevenly, and it just looked stupid. My future husband loved the way it looked and tried to convince me to keep it that way. I refused, because it itches growing back in, gets rashy, too many ingrown hairs if I can't keep it moisturized enough, and frankly, I thought it was ugly and immature looking. I had one last go-round with a FWB, and the first thing he wanted to know was what happened to my pubes. He disagreed that it was ugly, but agreed that it didn't look as he expected a grown up to look. Neither he nor I find a bald mound exciting, and I was not really happy with my nude appearance until my hair came back.

I'm not sure I can call mine a shrub, because the hair is fine and relatively sparse. Maybe mine's more of a topiary? A bonsai?

What is it with those people? There's nothing unhygienic about hair. Or should we all be walking around with shaved heads because it's 'cleaner'?

Errr . . . unless there were posts on other pages that mention confidence, there was only one poster who posted twice.

I thought it was ugly and immature looking.

I actually agree with this! But for me shaved is more comfortable, and comfort comes before appearance.

High Five, secret handshake, and all that.

Bonsai sounds neat. I'd go with that:fing02:

Hygiene is not the same thing as sanitation.

Hygiene includes things like cutting your nails, combing your hair, and washing your face, and if you are a man, shaving your face.

It doesn't mean men have to shave their face, but it is still considered hygiene.

Yeah, I might have been swayed to even just doit occasionally, just for his pleasure, but if I go more than 6 hours or so without the ability to moisturize, it gets itchy, bumpy, and gross. My solution was to give him a photo I took the very first time I ever shaved it bald.

Yes. Bonsai has grown on me. No pun and all that.

The first time I ever shaved, it was a mess!!!! Itchy, red, bumpy, ingrown hairs, etc. It was so sore I couldn't deal with anything touching it - no underwear until it healed. I'd done because my FB asked me to, but he certainly wouldn't have wanted a photo of that mess!

It seems that our motivations are the same - comfort - but we find different things comfortable.

From hygienic - definition of hygienic by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia. :

hy·gi·en·ic adj.

1. Of or relating to hygiene.
2. Tending to promote or preserve health.
3. Sanitary.

I repeat, there's nothing unhygienic (ie. unsanitary) about hair.

Yep! My hair may also be much curlier, and my skin dryer. Those are the contributing factors to the problems I experience.

I think I have the curly hair - as soon as it gets long enough to curl, it curls around my labia and starts tickling me inside *shudder*. But you could have dryer skin.

If you ever decide to give it another go for a special occasion I'd advise using an electric men's beard trimmer (they also make some similar female ones for bikini lines). They don't cut quite so close to the skin, so you don't get as many bad side effects. Although of course, the look is a little different because it isn't such a close shave (mine looks like a close shave except when close up).

2. Tending to promote or preserve health.

Notice the "tending" part. It does not have to be done to promote health. Using underarm deodorant is considered hygiene, but it does not promote or preserve health.

If I had meant unsanitary, I would have said unsanitary, so please stop trying to make it seem I said something I didn't mean.

My curls are so tight, they would never curl around my labia. Two or three days growth is curly already. But even if it was equally comfy, I don't like the way I look with no hair there. The only thing I ever liked about it was the skin felt sooooo silky for the first day.

I will never forget the first time I ever shaved it all off. I was a junior in high school and a friend said it looked and felt amazing. The first time was anything but...it was a mess, I nicked myself, it was horribly itchy. Anyway, over the years I've perfected shaving...unless I am getting waxed, and it's all good in the hood.

Unhygienic means unsanitary. If you didn't mean unsanitary maybe you should have used a different word. Or explained your use of the word more clearly.

Oh, your hair IS curlier than mine then! By heaps! I think that would have to contribute to your itchiness.

I so agree about the look!

Unhygienic means unsanitary.

They are two different words for a reason.

Sorry, but I'm not going to let you tweak the English language. There is a subtle difference. And I'm not going to let you tell me I am wrong when I am right, or chastise me for your own misinterpretation of my correct use of a word.

If you didn't mean unsanitary maybe you should have used a different word. Or explained your use of the word more clearly.
I used the correct word.

What is the word you would suggest to encompass shaving, cutting your hair, clipping your toenails, drying off with a towel, wearing deodorant and cleaning out your ears?

Can you think of a better word?

Unhygienic means unsanitary. The word you may be looking for, NewEnd, is grooming.

1. I used the word hygiene, not unhygienic.
2. Grooming is a verb. Hygiene is a noun.

I used the fucking word correctly, god fucking damn it.
