I prefer to get my orgasms AFTER he cums. Why? Because I have to tighten up all my muscles to build up enough tension for release. This causes my vag to get too tight during or before sex and makes things painful. I get to orgasm with his help about 50% of the time after sex. The other 50% I'm actually too tired and worn out from sex alone sans orgasm to have the energy to do so. Maybe a few years ago I would have been able to do it everytime afterwards. I have a lot of joint issues so tensing everything up just exacerbates that and I have to really really want them to put out the physical energy.

I also have so many orgasms after the first one that I can have as many of them in an evening as most men do in a month. So I really don't feel like I'm missing out if I decide to skip on it. The pleasure from penetration of a real live penis is pretty awesome enough to stand alone most sessions for me.

I enjoy cock inside of me and separately my clitoral orgasms like one could enjoy Filet Mignon and Cheesecake equally. They are both rich, both decadent.

I get the Big O with my hubby 100% of the time, almost always vaginally. He will sometimes hit my clit too, for added effect. Which is nice. :)

Before hubby I never had an orgasm, except with myself. Meeting a hot guy with a big one who cares about the woman's pleasure really unlocks a new world.

Now, when we swing, I usually have big orgasms with the other guy (they are always 8+) but, really, a lot of that is seeing my hubby get off too.

Women are complicated ... really. :)

But you need that guy to unlock the Orgasm Door and if you're smart - marry him! Then all kinds of things become possible.

BTW hubby admitted to me that he had been the "first orgasm from sex" guy for a lot of women - I think this is common.

There's a problem there. Some guys who are wonderful in bed have nothing else going for them.

thanks for all the comments.
im 39 and i can stay hard after i cum sometimes, dont ask me how but its still hard sometimes, and no Viagra. I have continued after cumming for a little while longer until my wife does cum, but usually that is quite painfull straight after cumming. I have read a bit on here and internet that it is quite hard for a woman to orgasm from penetration alone hence the questions.

This is a dumb question as i think i know the answer but here goes anyway. Do the majority of women prefer longer sessions? Not including foreplay, but when the guy is inside you, the longer he can keep pumping away the better right? Hard and fast, or slow and steady?

wrong.

for most of us, we get sore, we get tired and we get bored.
and, if it's every damn time, a lot of us will put off sex because we know it'll go on too long. my ex was 2 hours every time and it got old fast!

I don't want a guy who lasts forever. I'll take a premature ejaculator hands down to a guy who lasts too long every time.

Dear Lord, no! Pumping away? For as long as possible? I'm a woman not a bouncy castle with a leaky valve!

I have never been with a woman who really desired vaginal penetration to go on without a break for more than about 15-20 min, 30 min absolute tops.

There is a lot of stuff on the web that would suggest that a large majority of women never orgasm with vaginal intercourse in the absence of direct clitoral stimulation. That just doesn't fit with my experience. I am not saying that a significant percentage never do and only a relatively small percentage orgasm just about every time. But I have had a number of partners who did come sometimes, but not regularly.

For what it is worth, my experience closely matches this input from Dr. Drew:

"
Dr. Drew: Yes, men and women are wired differently, moreover women are wired differently from each other. Many times women will feel as though they are flawed because they are not living up to a certain standard of climaxing. Men make it worse because they generalize what’s needed to make a woman climax. Often men believe women are the same, and once they figure what works for one woman they apply that same method to all the other women they are intimate with, and that’s one of the major problems.

  • 50-60% of women will never have an orgasm via intercourse and will require clitoral stimulation to climax.
  • 30% of women will have a reliable orgasm with intercourse.
  • 10% of women will orgasm with intercourse and could possibly have sequential orgasms.
  • 5% of women have true multiple orgasms only through intercourse and these women typically find oral sex uncomfortable."
I also found this survey on female sexuality interesting and pretty accurate in so far as frequency of female orgasm with vaginal intercourse was concerned: Women's sex experiences

The survey includes information on what techniques women used to reach orgasm as well as the frequency with which they climaxed with vaginal sex without direct clitoral stimulation (which is in entry 12). If you don't want to open the link, here are the responses to the following question:

"How often do you reach orgasm as a result of vaginal intercourse alone? (Just to be clear, if you use your hand or anything else to help you get to orgasm during intercourse, please answer "never" to this question.)"

never 31.9%
up to 10% of the time 10.9%
between 10 and 25% of the time 5.9%
between 25 and 50% of the time 8.4%
between 50 and 75% of the time 16.0%
over 75% of the time 8.4%
I expect to come every time 18.5%
