Women and Vibrators

thingsteal: Aren't I a nice husband?

I bought my wife a Rabbit Pearl vibrator recently.

So far we've been too tired to get busy, much less break out the new toy. We will soon. Maybe tomorrow.

It was a surprise.

We had talked about it at one time. Since she liked "Sex & The City" she was naturally curious about something which would make Charlotte and Miranda recluses.

I made her open the package up. She was shocked, but in a good way. I turned on the rabbit ears and she said, "That's going to be fun!" She knew exactly where they were going.

She looked at the shaft and wondered what the little pearl beads were for, so I turned it on to rotate around. She was amused and remarked how much smaller the head and shaft are than what I have. (Good wife!!!)

So.... gals.... have you used vibrators in the past? Do you currently have a "rabbit" style vibrator? Opinions, please!

zaneblue: Ooh, one of my favorite topics of conversation. Sex toys! Generally with vibrators the real focus is the clitoris. The Rabbit is good because it has light clitoral stimulation (with the "ears"). Women who have difficulty reaching orgasm usually have better success with heavier clitoral stimulation, like a Hitachi Magic Wand, or truly amazing Eroscillator (both which plug in the wall). The only problem with those is that they can become addictive, and then it becomes harder to reach orgasm during regular sex. A godsend for women who have trouble reaching orgasm at all, but a temptation for a woman who can easily have clitoral orgasms during sex. Light clitoral stimulation, like from the Rabbit, is a good compromise.

Then there's G-spot stimulation. The Rabbit hits this too, with the rotating beads. A lot of women like faster and harder stimulation of their G-spot, a repeated tapping. A good toy for this is made out of something very hard, like acrylic or stainless steel. And thin, like 2.5 inches in circumference, with maybe a larger ball on top. A great toy for G-spot stimulation is the Kegelcisor (also mentioned on Sex In The City), which has the added benefit of being a great PC muscles exerciser.

Finally there are toys for deeper vaginal stimulation. These don't necessarily need to vibrate to be fun. Of course the Rabbit fits this too. The best material for a dildo or vibrating dildo is silicone. Of course, nothing's as good as the real thing. A fun toy you may want to try is a vibrating cock ring, which basically turns your cock into a vibrating dildo, with the added benefit of having the vibrating bullet hit her clitoris. Stretchy silicone is the best material for this.

TS, yes, you are a good husband, but you're a better lover. ;)

We've been talking about this. Just don't know what to get. We looked at some toys at a shop, but the choices were a bit mind boggling.

He has "Magic Fingers", which is very nice, but he wants to try something else. He bought me this hard plastic vibrating thing, but hard plastic [cold plastic] isn't appealing. Please report back and let us know how she likes it.

zaneblue: Silicone, silicone I tell you! It's pricey but it's worth the extra money. A really great vibrator site, not sure if we can post links here, but it's a lesbian site so you know they know what we like. The toys sold in most sex shops are usually pretty lame.
