Here however, you're turning on your heels to use the example in Boston to claim this officer in Toronto had every right to do the same when there was no immediate danger.
My position hasn't changed at all.
My statements have always been that women can dress how they like, and it DOES NOT mean they are "asking for it". I hope that is clear now.
Ordinary men are well aware of this.
However, rapists are NOT ordinary men.
Their victims are not "asking for it", but they ARE putting themselves at risk from such an attacker. These are obviously entirely different things.
My views are pragmatic, not misogynistic.
