I'm 25 and I love eating out older women.

They really seem to get going because of my age(25yrs old)....

I'm married to someone much younger than I am. We met waaay before "cougar" was even coined and attributed to older ladies. The term doesn't bother me. I do feel bad tho for men who date younger girls because they are always thought of as "the dirty old man." - unfairly.

Anyways, it was difficult for me. I denied and denied for the first few months. He was very persistant. The first few years were...incredible and horrible at the same time due mainly to my own insecurities.

There are some positives and negatives to being with someone younger. Too many to list, but if you get struck by a lighting bolt, you can bet age won't make any difference in the eventual outcome.

I'm not sure how you can meet that special person except to keep your eyes open. When you find her, look her right in the eye and smile. Write your phone number down and give it to her saying you think she's lovely or whatever and would like to know more about her.

Best wishes. Hope it works out for you.

Since it's not taboo as it was, I don't see as many women having an issue with it.

But as has been said, everybody is different. you cannot ask some women here, who evidently cannot speak for hundreds of millions of adult women in the world lol...

The key is ask the woman you're interested if she is willing to date a younger guy. the individual is the measure of everything ;)

Be respectful and courteous and engaging them in an intelligent way.

Younger women might be impressed with gangster thug "swag" but anyone who wears their cap on backwards and appears not to own a belt for their ill fitting trousers leaves me cold.

Here's the difference...
There are younger guys who are still emotional and intellectual juveniles and then there are younger guys who have a maturity that belies their actual chronological age.

The younger guy who approaches me with that maturity and can actually treat me with respect are great.

Their sexual repertoire will no doubt need work but if they come to my bed with a open and teachable spirit I'm quite happy to play school marm.

I like this answer.

the term cougar just makes me laugh. it doesn't bother me. i do like younger guys. all of the men that i've dated have been younger than i am. but one. but, the age difference was 6-7 years younger.

i also ask "what type of age difference are we talking about?"

Fancypants' question was a good one. How much older are you talking about?

I have been hit on by a lot of younger men, and some have done it so badly that I was offended. In my experience, if a young man calls you a cougar, generally that means that he wants you to be a cougar and he's attempting to flirt. The problem is that I hate being called a cougar.

I did an informal poll one holiday and asked a whole bunch of women what they thought and every woman said that they also hated that word. Now a few ladies here on LPSG have said that they like being called that, but I think you might be taking a huge risk that it will backfire if you're interested in an older woman and you try to pick her up by calling her that.

Personally, I like it when a guy just makes conversation and jokes and flirts with me like I'm a woman and he's a man, not like one of us is older and the other one is younger. This applied when I was 21 and dating older men and it still applied when I grew older and younger men starting to hit on me.

ha! kind of like the term MILF. to some it's welcome, others it's almost as bad as the n-word.:biggrin1:

Also, another point for the OP. If you simply talk to an older woman normally, be cocky and funny when approaching her, it's the same as a younger woman. I'm interested in an older woman who is 45 (I am 30) and I just chat with her normally.
