Personally, I'm of the belief I can listen to a person for hours on end if they honestly believed in their hearts what they were expressing.

Not sure I'm with you there, chief... I've come across a good few regulars here who honestly believe some pretty weird lines of bullshit. And I'm not talking about in the Politics section! In Australia feminine hygiene products are hit with the GST - goods and services tax.
So all females aged between the ages of 13 and 50 are taxed for being women.
We call it the tampon tax.

I try my best to give the benefit of the doubt but things like this just make me say fuck it, this place is already an echo chamber for those who have bad intentions because of the fact that the rules aren't applied consistently and passes are given to clear violations.

I stay for the peeps I love, but I also stay for the sake of not letting the fuckwits "win"... But sometimes it's like they won a long time ago because they get away with rapey/incestuous/misogynist bullshit all too often, then WE get reported for speaking up.

And when we report, a lot of the time, it gets dismissed. Not always, but often enough and with things that are CLEARLY violations that it turns me the fuck off
