I'm loving the responses from the guys about male jewelry and just had to slap myself for not having a thread about women's jewelry.

What do you ladies like to wear?
What do you wish you had to wear?

What do you ladies and gents find appealing or unappealing on women?

For myself my daily wear consists of tiny silver hoops in the second piercings in my ears (the lower ones I keep neglecting to use). I also have matching silver laurel wreath rings on each of my middle fingers (I like having a match on both hands). I always go with silver as I don't like how gold looks against my skin.

I love the bling of Swarovski for evening wear. A single large stone to catch the light looks elegant to me, although I have seen/bought some necklaces with multiple stones that appealed to me.

Feel free to link pics if you like.

I'm a stacker. I love to stack, bangles, charm bracelets, beaded bracelets, etc. When they touch I think of fairy bells... 'Cause I'm weird :)

I occasionally wear earrings, but they make my ears itch, doesn't matter the metal and I tend to lose them... a lot, so I only wear them on special occasions.

Summertime, I tend to live in flips flops so I pretty much always have an anklet or two or three hanging around down there.

I have rings, necklaces, etc. but I just don't wear the stuff often. On a day to day basis, I'm jewelry free. If I need to remember to take it off or put it on I probably don't wear it or take it off as much as I should.

Of course, my engagement and wedding band, an opal ring that belonged to my grandmother, and another ring given to me by my husband. Sometimes a thumb ring. I like to stack bracelets, too. HiddenLacey, you reminded me that I haven't worn my anklet in forever! I need to look for it.

Always a necklace or two or three, or just my cameo. Tons of earrings: hoops, studs, stones. Earrings are really the only jewelry I wear all the time since I rarely wear anything else at the gym or when I'm on a job site with a sledge hammer.

I feel naked without earrings. lol So my first hole always has something dangling from it. I wear either gold or diamond studs in the second holes when I remember them. Usually one necklace with a pendant. I'm a yellow gold girl because it is the one metal that looks good against my skin no matter what I'm wearing. I always have a bracelet or two on and occasionally a watch. When I wear rings it is two rings on each hand.

I have my regular jewelry thats almost like a uniform. Diamond stud earrings, and then I layer my silver Tiffany jewelry. I have several necklaces and bracelets. OK I guess I only wear one necklace at a time (usually) but my bracelets I think look good layered. (The Tiffany stuff I mean)

I have a boat load of other jewelry but I generally wear my silver pieces.

oh and pearls too! but only with lots of silver so as not to look like an old lady

My favorite porn site: Home | Tiffany & Co.

Lol, expensive. I'm more of a hobo. I have expensive stuff I've been given, but I normally pass over that stuff in favor of pieces I've put together myself or smaller/ less expensive pieces.

So easy to get sterling silver wire and make whatever you want. Especially the beaded pieces. Take the Alex and Ani fad, I don't really want a bunch of bracelets that will turn my skin different colors, so I purchase wire, bend it myself and add whatever charms/ beads I wish. I like to make things and I like one of a kind pieces.

When I do look at high-end jewelry I go to a studio. Off the grid, beautifully crafted pieces, especially custom pieces tug my heart strings.

You ever get that little tangle of hair left on the chain and your like where the ffff did that come from!!! Or it pulls the little fine hairs at the back of your neck *shudders.*

Necklace goes on for dinner date, comes off when I walk into my home. End of chain hair drama.

Funny, I so rarely have that problem. I'm wearing my hair shorter now but even when I wore it long, shoulder length, it was still rare that it got caught on my necklace.

It happens all the time and hurts like hell. I actually wear the clasp towards the front so that it doesnt happen. You cant do that with more detailed necklaces but my silver chains are notorious for ripping the crap outta my little hairs :p (its the clasp that rips your hair out)

Lacey I have a whole tub of jewelry making supplies. Like thats ever really gonna happen... :)

Shave your neck....maybe??? Or grow a rear neck roll and tuck the chain in that.

I have one good diamond ring with a round stone and 2 square baguettes on the sides. Consists of both white and yellow gold. I purchased as a present for myself back in '02. The other ring I tend to wear is sterling. Has the look of a 5 stone anniversary ring and I get more compliments on that $9.99 piece than my expensive ring. I don't do necklaces nor earrings. My ears get infected no matter the metal.

Actually, my hair catches in my pearls more than my chains. I'm constantly flipping my hair from my neck during the day. I think it's a habit.

I'm with Daisy, 'love' tiffanys, and I always wear my Tiffany necklace. I also wear a diamond solitaire ring, not an engagement ring but it does have special meaning to me. I also have a nomination charm bracelet that i always wear, Pandora is too fussy for me i like the simple look of nomination ones, and you can save the links you remove as you add charms and start a new bracelet, great if you like to stack them.

Nomination Jewellery: Bracelets Rings Necklaces Earrings Watches

I have very long hair and it can get caught but I tend to tie it up a lot, so i have no solution to this dilemma either.

Sorry, Fluffy, I never got beyond that line. Can I be the danglin' thing?

I know, childish...right?!

I'm not sure why I don;t wear jewelry every day anymore. I used to be the accessories queen. The QUEEN! Now I wear a beautiful ceramic watch with swarovski crystals, and my engagement ring. Oh, and the hoop in my tragus. I was never into rings, but I used to wear two pairs of earrings daily. Something small and sparkly in the upper holes, and something long and dangly in the lower ones. I've also had a tongue piercing, and a barbell at my eyebrow where now is just a faint scar. I like necklaces too, but don;t wear them either. I am extremely partial to lariats and lockets.

I wanted to buy my love a ceramic high heeled shoe from an antique shop cause she loves shoes and collects little trinkets..etc. I could not find anything no matter how many 2nd hand shops i visited.

I ended up buying a little Italian silver enameled thimble cause she loves to dressmake as well. Only a wee thing but it's the thought I spose.

I ALWAYS wear an ankle bracelet that I received for my 21 birthday from my parents. Beyond that, when I am at work, I wear diamond stud earrings, engagement ring, wedding band, a St. Brigid cross and a watch. When I am out and about casually, it usually similar to my work look. When I go out, I ramp up my look with more and bigger bling. I must confess I am a diamond girl. My dressy jewelry can be best described as statement pieces. My all time favorite for black tie events is an up-do with large diamond chandelier earrings.

When I'm at work, my jewelry has to be minimal (medical), but OUT of work, I LOVE wearing body chains...
Maybe it's living in S. FL, but its perfect for me...Some are simple drop chains, and others are more elaborate.... ;)
