Are you just stupid? Making generalisations about the sexes is the definition of sexism. Making negative or otherwise reductive generalisations about women is misogyny.
The fact that you're a man doesn't excuse you from being ignorant. Lighten the fuck up eh? So you think it's fine for a man to a) presume that all men are as hopelessly addicted to pornography as the he personally is? and b) think it's perfectly fine for him to presume that all women are obsessed with having babies? And c) expect everyone to collude with him in his obnoxious assumptions?
Oh yeah, that makes sense.... if I generalise offensively.... you're an Australian man.
Classification, categorisation, characterisaton are common methods we use to make sense of the world. They all involve generalisations that help us understand where we fit in with the scheme of things.
It is not offensive to suggest that women are generally more more nurturing than men, or more interested in fashion than cars. Of course there are many exceptions to these generalisations. Some women may be offended to be categorised in this way and some will be proud to be included. But it is not sexist to presume that there are general differences between genders.
Like most people, when I meet someone face to face, I will reasses these generalisations and get to know them as an individual.
Oh and you think MB is tiresome do you? Here's some news for you, you're a witless, simpering moron whose posts make teeth hurt with boredom and irritation. Why don't you go find some equally intellectually challenged, Neanderthal straight bloke to suck up to in the desperate hope that he'll validate your sad, sexually frustrated admiration of him with some kind of cyber-hi five and do us all the enormous favour of not gracing us with your antediluvian weltanschauung?
Clearly my post is not so boring, being that it provoked such an emotional response.
