Soon this soccer thing will be over with and we can get back to baseball.
You did a good job. :smile:It was great to be part of such an amazing tournament! We enjoyed having all the world to come party in our wonderful country....
The atmosphere here in South Africa the last month can only be described as electric and positive.
Plenty of sexy hung fans around too !
If you think there was "quality" in this game, then we both must have watched entirely different games.
8 goals in this whole World Cup for Spain........some make more in one or 2 games.
They play all defensive and annoy the other team and then, pretty much at the end of the game, somehow sneak in one goal.
That's not great or high quality soccer.
Paralysis by over-analysis...that's the LPSG way! :tongue:a Final
Over anaylisis killed the LPSG FWC show
(this thread ..you know who you are?? ha)
ALL GOOD
The Better finally came thru
to me SPAIN deserved it all..on the day..eventually winning
as to who SHOULD have been in the final .. moot point
CONGRATULATIONS
Onwards ..2014

That's the game we call rounders in the UK, which is only played at school during the summer, as a bit of fun. Nobody takes it seriously here. There are no rounders stadiums (or baseball stadiums for that matter).
There are no cricket stadiums here...I don't think I've ever seen ANYONE play it at parks or what not........

Nonsense. There is actually quite a healthy cricket scene in the USA. (USA Cricket Association | Associate member of International Cricket Council)
And there's a dedicated cricket ground (not a stadium! it's a cricket ground) in Florida.
Although one of the lovely things about cricket is you can play it on virtually any flat green space. You just need to measure out the wicket, set the boundaries and you're done.
So neener, neener, neener! :wink::tongue:
Apparently now were looking to host the 2020 Olympic Games. Hope we've paid off our debt for this WC by then...
Yeah, well, they call a field a pitch.....![]()
