Having spent years listening to my female friends discuss rugby for anything but the ball skills, I feel completely exonerated in pledging my support to Norway. I await their calendar.........
:dance::dance: I've been watching off and on since the opening match - love it! The bf just ruined the score for tonight's re-broadcast. *sigh*Is there anybody out there who is following the action from Germany ?
U-s-a! U-s-a! U-s-a!
You can only support one team. :biggrin1:
Come to the US. All the games were on television. The US in one of the most incredible finishes...woooooooooooooooooooooIhink my favourite teams is Sweden and Brazil, I having seen too many of the games they don't show it much on the telly, which is a bit of a shame
That game on sunday was one of the best if not the best sports experience i have ever had watching a game from home, that game had so many ups and down, i think that was the greatest game i have ever seen. Too amazing, now i cant wait for wednesday
Yeah the next game is Wed against the French, should be another good oneIs Weds the next USA game?
USA-France was another fabulous match.
USA-Japan in the Final. I imagine the entire world, outside the US, will be rooting for Japan, as I would be were I not a Yank.
The only thing I wil give you is they aren't as fast, but I am sure that many of them are faster than Crouch. They don't count as proper footballers until they go 7 up on a young guy & video it.
PS - there's no way that they play as well as the guys:smile:. Some of the games may be better to watch occasionally because the play is more open(because they aren't fit enough, fast enough, or tactically adept), & there aren't any really good virtuosos.
Still, it's coming along well, & to be honest, I don't think the England woman's team could play any worse than the England men's team in the last world cup.
It would be great, if unlikely, for England to win, if only to rag & cajole the men's team.
