And that's partially why we're in the mess we're in now. What's the point on having allies if you're not willing to at least listen to their ideas & opinions, and work out some level of compromise to make every party happy? You think our nation would be paying the money we are now for the war if Bush was willing to work things out a little more thoroughly instead of rushing in with bombs? We may have had more support, which would take away some of the burden from our own backs. On top of that, it would save money... something that we need more than ever now that companies like AIG are taking bailout money to take lavish vacations.

It's the same reason why they still love Clinton. Because for that moment, America had a political leader that wouldn't shit on their ideals. Just because you feel passionate about your own doesn't mean that the ideals & beliefs of others don't matter. If anything, these other countries have been in existence FAR LONGER than our own. Again, this shows just how many people can't (or just won't) relate to others that may be different. That's where a lot of the drama develops.

And there's no point on calling other political leaders terrorists anymore, regardless of their name and what they did. For many people around the world consider Bush's actions to be right on par with a terrorist themselves. So much for that argument.

I travel all over the world as well and we must run in vastly different circles as I have never met one person where I had to start a conversation like that. Sure, there are those who hate George Bush for him telling the world to fuck-off regarding Iraq, you know mainly those like Russia & France but that’s likely because he exposed the reason they would never enforce sanctions against Iraq and ruined their dirty multi-billion dollar under-the-table oil deals.

Bill Clinton attacked Iraq several times also and it wasn’t just because he needed a diversion in the press after Monica gave him a blowjob.

I travel all over the world too. I meet dozens of people every year and we frequently discuss world politics. I have yet to met one person outside of the U.S., who think GW Bush has been a good President. I mean everyone from taxi drivers to my ultra high net worth clients. Europeans, Brits, Chinese, Arabs, Russians, Thais, Turks, Egyptians, Canadians, Africans, not one person has expressed support for this administration since 2002.

The sense I get is that they don't hate Americans, they actually like America. They just don't understand how you all could have elected him twice.
