Well boys, I wasn't kidding about a huge influx!

There were more chat-virgins in the room today than there are on the Vatican Switchboard! Most of them seemed ok though, although the numbers thinking this was a place to hook up with women was a bit disconcerting.

I dare say they'll soon learn that there's more to fishing than just dangling a big rod!

I think that's the main problem.. nobody minds there being 682 "new introduction" threads --- *swallows some valium* --- but it's the fact that the site is misrepresented as purely a hook-up joint on the show (as opposed to a welcoming community of friends, and a source of information on so many issues relating to sex and sexuality) which leads to problems. Ho-hum.

1) because it misrepresents LPSG as purely a hook-up site for 'cock-hungry women who behave like whores' (to paraphrase the way it's presented in the show);

2) because the first time the show aired on Channel 4, the site became Trollville Central Station for a period of weeks. This time seems rather better thus far. *inserts smiley with crossed fingers*;

and 3) because we don't get to use those aggressive smileys nearly enough these days. :smashfreakB:
