I decided to start this thread because I have actually seen the worst movie ever. (Lol.) I guess that's only my opinion, but seriously - this movie is so beyond bad it's ridiculous. If you ever get an opportunity to see "River of Darkness", just say NO and run far far away.

What's the worst movie you've ever seen?

Spiderman 3 (Not bad but disappointing)

I liked that movie, I think I even bought the used DVD from Hollywood Video.

The worst movie I ever saw was The Three Amigos. Being a huge Steve Martin fan I was horrified by how unfunny it was.

Oh please - you can say you hate A Clockwork Orange, that it is disturbing, you can wish it had never been made but you cannot say it is a bad movie. It is a fucking brilliant movie - it is devastatingly attractive, exquisitely cut and disturbingly well acted.

I love it - I know loads who hate it, but even they would never dream of saying it is a 'bad movie'.

Legends of the Fall was so bad it was funny. I saw it in the cinema with a friend who had one of those honking laughs - we got giggly, she honked solidly for the last 45 minutes of the film, she set everyone around us giggling and they set off those around them - by the bear fight scene the whole theatre was roaring with laughter. A bad movie, but a good movie experience.

Oh wait, Unbreakable, not only is it shitty, one guy's superpower is brittle bone disease, the other guys superpower is being lucky, and then nothing happens. Has to be the most overrated movie ever. First time I saw it, it sucked. Then about a year or so ago I saw it thinking that some people say it's good, and I was baffled. I don't even know what happened or the plot, very forgettable shit movie. Signs and the Village were masterpieces compared to it. I forget most of signs, I think the aliens were thwarted by rain, but I could tell you why the Village was good, can anyone tell me why Unbreakable was good?

I think A Clockwork Orange was a great movie. Now Eyes Wide Shut was a sad last film for him. Brutally bad and boring with no story. AI which he wanted to make was 100 times better.

That Vanilla Ice one - it was quite funny, but absolutely diabolical.

Absolutely agree......except for the first "Under Siege" that was halfway decent.

A Clockwork Orange would be in my Top Ten Best.

Waterworld, Catwoman, Heaven's Gate were all huge wastes of time.

A film everyone loved at the time but I thought was stupid was The Deer Hunter.

Worst movies for me, according to my ratings on Netflix:

    Twilight
The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010 with Nicholas Cage)
    Steve-O: Out on Bail
    The House Bunny
    Hollow Man
    The Devil Wears Prada
    Made of Honor
    Princess of Thieves
    Wild Orchid 2
    Just Like Heaven

I believe I gave up on some of these before they finished since I do not even remember watching some of them.

I liked that movie, but I agree with the analysis I read that said that the movie ended where it should have been the beginning. I liked the "gritty reality" take on the superhero movie, but discovering their own powers and purpose in the world should have occurred in the first half of the movie, not at the end. It's like the director got so caught up with his habit of ending a movie with a twist that he's forgotten there are other ways to construct a story.

I have two films that I can't stand. They tend to be many people's faves. OK, here it is. Thelma and Louise and ET.

There are so many of them. But I'll through this one out there, Grease 2. Absolutely unwatchable regardless of the viewer's state of inebriation.
