I guess I was lucky in high school, although I didn't know it at the time, because the alternative cliques had all the creds. The intellectuals, poets and musicans pretty much ruled the roost and the jocks and cheerleaders were pretty much the school jokes. I guess it didn't hurt that we had the worst football team in the district. When other schools came to our school to play against us, they were happy because they knew A) that they would win, and B) that they could always score drugs. We had the best attended sports events anywhere! One guy who was an absolutely insane artist liked to get large banners and a copy of the other school's yearbook about a week in advance and draw huge murals of the other team all in drag, and the caricatures were good enough that they could recognise themselves. After a while, it was something they'd look forward to.
I don't know if anyone read the edited post of mine at the bottom of page 1, but the reason I am surprised by men being so aghast at being thought of in terms of their dick size is because in my lifetime, it has been the norm for me to be seen as a pair of tits. I eventually accepted karma as karma and just learned to use it to my advantage.
Dominik, I know well how you feel and I'd never think of you as someone who would devalue another. I'm glad this is all cleared up. I can scarcely imagine how hard it would be for me to try to voice my thoughts in German, so I think you are doing quite well.
