Unlike the woman in the link above I am quite happy with my labia. I think it's textbook perfect. :smile: I feel bad for women that have uneven, too long, or misshapen labia and can understand their desire to have that corrected.

Some women have a simple crack; some have a floral bouquet. They both have their appeal. I don't think that women should be self-conscious about having 'abnormal' labia unless it's truly malformed. Butterfly wings are not a malformation--plenty of women have them... and many guys love them.

I voted that if my labia interfered with comfort or sex, I would consider surgery. I think it is ridiculous and the companies that try to make women feel their "junk" is ugly, should be castrated. How's that?

I've heard a couple of male friends make idiotic comments about larger labias. There's nothing wrong with preference, but it's no reason to be demeaning either.

I don't really get what the issue is, unless (like the woman at the link) there is physical discomfort involved. My lips are neat and tidy, but I think large/long/whatever ones are beautiful and interesting to see. Based on what I've seen, both types (and everything in between) are fairly common, so why is one suddenly normal and the other undesireable? I'm guessing the answer is mainstream porn, but I think it's really unfortunate for all the "different" but beautiful women out there.

Oh for the love of God, you are sooo annoyingly PC. :irked: If you had read the article you would realize some women have labia which are so long they are uncomfortable on a daily basis. Some can become folded in an uncomfortable fashion within ones panties. No amount of adjusting and groping makes it better. FYI: Most women aren't comfortable touching themselves 'down there' in public as men do. Sometimes large, long, or assymetrical labia get caught on or around the penis during sex. This causes discomfort for both the male and female. For these women I think that labiaplasty is a logical choice and their insurance should cover it at 100%.

Mine are quiet uneven, to a very noticeable degree and while i used to feel very self conscious about it now i like it. I don't want a run of the mill picture perfect pussy. I want mine, imperfections and all. :tongue:

While I have DEFINITELY considered breast augmentation (and very nearly had it - if my car hadn't broken down a month before the surgery date I would have! ), I have never considered labiaplasty. I've only read comments about that in very recent months (not even years! Months!)

BTW I'm sort of glad I didn't wind up getting the breast augmentation at that time because I didn't know that you had to have upkeep on it that also often involves more surgery, and didn't know that 10 years from then I would no longer have a steady income. (I'm still waiting for that stem-cell augmentation!!! And to get a steady job again...)

But no, I've had no complaints (yet!) about my labia, although one asshole did say that my clit was too small. :frown1:
