I was once sitting on a bench outside the San Diego VA regional office and was approached by an older man who started talking to me. He got on the subject of porn, with me, a complete stranger, and said that if I was interested I might like to make some films.
He said that these were private specialty movies made for very wealthy people like certain Suadis, and other foreigners, which are never released to the public, so I would not have to worry about being recognized, and because some of the activities shot were of "questionable legality" in the USA they were filmed south of the border in Tijuana/Baja.
I might have actually done it had he not added that last part, which COMPLETELY creeped me out, for some reason snuff film popped into my head. At the very least I suspected that kids were involved, I was in my early twenties but could still pass for 14.
I caught my bus feeling a little flattered but mostly grossed out. It might sound like a fast and fun way to make $2,500, but it is also something that can follow you the rest of your life. He did not mention the pay but back then $2,500 was sort of the going rate, I don't know what it is now but it is not enough.
