Basically, no more or less than anybody else. If I connect with someone enough to want to have sex with them, then that is what sets the parameters. I try not to be stupid with my life and take foolish chances---if it is purely for sex and no other reason, and no other connection, then no. Frankly, without some form of mental or emotional connection, sex is glorified masturbation--whether you are masturbating in someone else's body or they are in yours is irrelavant.

I am surprised that in three full pages nobody from the business has spoken up. I would have sex with a porn actress, and I have done it with a few who were in the business 30-odd years ago. The business hasn't changed very much.

First, everything that has been said upthread about check-ups and condoms is true and has been required since 1996. Before that check-ups and condoms were optional, but almost everyone took the option.

Second, in the business people pretty much date each other; that way there are a whole lot of questions that don't have to be dealt with. As far as I know that has been the case as long as there has been videotape, and 8mm film before that.

Third, once you have sex with a porn actor/actress, you will know why motion picture performance is called "acting". Expecting sex to be different is like asking whether sex with a cop is different from sex with a nurse.

I would. If I got to know them like any other person. I wouldn't have sex with a porn star to have sex with a porn star, though. Not my thing. As a previous poster said, whether they are a porn actor/star or a just a regular person, (ie: non-porn actor,) what differance does it make if it's just hooking up for sex? Relationships could be vastly differant, but the OP asked about sex, not relationships. As has been stated, porn actors get tested more often then most regular people so, in reality, they are probably a safer bet as far as STDs go. lol

Now, here are some related questions. What's the differance between a porn actor and a porn star? Also, what constitutes 'sex' in this case? I think there are some actors who are 'stars' because they have done a lot of vids, Brent Corrigan having done qite a few and Denis Reed, (my all time favourite,) having done tons of all kinds of vids. But I'm not sure someone who has only done a couple flicks is really a star in any sense of the word.
