Would you take it ok if somebody politely, non-sexually complimented your body?

This guy on my bus to work has the most insane body I can remember seeing in person. He’s 6’5” ish, massively swole, but also crazy lean and chiseled. I wouldn’t want to seem pervy or creepy but I really want to give him a super brief, casual compliment. Just as an appreciation, because he’s gotta be working his ass off to maintain this physique. So maybe he’d appreciate a little acknowledgement. I probably won’t … but I kinda want to. Would most straight guys take it ok, assuming you looked like this dude?

I work in a hospital currently as a CNA but I'm going to school to become a nurse and it's not uncommon at all to have both men and women compliment me on my body. I'm not a muscle builder by any means but I do stay very physically active and I've been hit on by both. It's not just women who have to put up with that. It is flattering but it does get kind of old sometimes.

It has happened to me a couple times.
The last one was at a clothing store, I was getting measured by an obviously gay man.
This was after I divorced, and before I remarried, so no ring.
He first just mentioned my height (6' 4") but then said something to the effect that I have kept my youthful physique.. I made some kind of a joke, don't remember, he then dropped a hint he was going to be at an event that weekend and wondered if I was also going. It was obvious where this was going, so I politely worked in I wasn't sure what my GF and I were doing.

At any rate - hell no, I was flattered. Any dude that gets negative or angered by a compliment from a gay man is an ass that has his own issues. I am glad I can still attract an eye no matter what sex they are!
