No. Sometimes science is a half-step away from ethical responsibility.

That is cruel and very unusual.

Wouldn't want to live like that. Nope.

Does seem miserable , but , who are we to decide if he lives or not ?

That's the main conflict that comes with these medical advancments.

There's no ethical reason for him to be kept alive like that. I know I wouldn't want to be EVER! Let him be in gods hands now, as I know that's where I'd like to be also if I were in that state.

I would...anything is better than being dead. From what I hear he can hear and everything but he just can't respond

nope..... I wouldn't want my worst enemy to be kept in that condition. I think that there is no one in that body....its just a shell. So why not let the physical body die, and let the spiritual body move on.

Death is preferable to a living hell. Sometimes its the only humane choice available.

No. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, let alone a family member or someone I love.

    NO, NO, NO!

I think no one will say YES to this thread. and the family should be the first to 'let' their son die. IT's hard, but I imagine it's harder to him, than any other person. WHY let someone live if their life's ruined?
in this specific case there's no GOING back and salvaging any thing.

    this is just TOO sad.

If you can get off your soapbox and stop whining long enough to allow profound thought you just might find that statement to be just that.

Do I make fun of you for your feeblemindedness? No, so what makes you think I am making fun of anybody else here, feeblemindedness? :biggrin1:
