I was surprised by her appearance on SNL tonight. I had thought she could sing. She can't. She was entirely out of tune. This was the first time I'd ever heard her sing.

I still love her. This is my favorite song of hers. I don't care how played out it is. It's still on my IPOD and still one of my ringtones. Most of her new stuff is just, blah.

I don't know anything about her music, but I've seen her interviewed a few times and she's obviously a lot smarter and more articulate than the typical teen-diva/stripper. She could probably even hold a conversation with a real musician!
Maybe this is the reason my local Starbucks is currently selling CDs by John Lennon, Robert Plant and Katy Perry.

SNL is Saturday Night Live. I never really thought Katy Perry could sing in the first place. Her songs are catchy sure, but her looks alone carry her through the music/entertainment industry and not her "talent".

Fuck Katy Perry and fuck Russell Brand! Fuck them all.

She annoys me, her voice goes through me like scratching a fork on a dinner plate (which normally I don't mind) and he's just a twat.

You can tell if someone can sing or not by the song. Especially that California Girls one. It had a very 'electronic' sound to it (auto tune) and just sounded shit.

Here's a woman who can sing:

And a woman who can really sing:

    See the difference?

The words are much clearer and the singing is 10x better.

Katy Perry isn't even attractive. She just dresses slutty; shows a lot of cleavage.

So true. She is a natural beauty. Too bad she had trouble with Ben Moody. Both perfect musicians. Ben is a pretty good singer too.

You know Broken by Seether? Amy and Seether did a new version of it some years ago. Total win since Seether is one of my favs too.

OH YES! I have this on my Ipod. I love Shauns voice! I can never remember his last name. She rocks it out with him. They just sound so good together.

I think she sounds pretty awesome together with Aaron Lewis of Staind too.
What a shame there is no good version on youtube.

haha, totally forgot about KORN feat. Amy ^^

I love some Staind! I'm picky when it comes to Korns music, it gets alittle dark for me sometimes. Some of Korns music reminds me of a Rob Zombie movie in action... freaky stuff:tongue:
