Growing up in Jersey outside NYC, I learned to say "you guys;" this worked for me until I moved to the west coast to finish college. Maybe because I still have traces of a Southern accent when I changed to "you" from "you guys" [plural form for male, female or combination] everyone assumed I was talking to or inviting one...so "you all" crept back in for clarity.

Personally, I think that either the test is rigged to make us all Southern or this must be a test from the Harvard Beet Co. in Mississippi.

Mighty_Joe: Hey y'all. Unfortunately I could not get the site when I clicked on. I was born in Alabama but went to a school in Chicago for a few months and then worked in Mississippi for several years.
Has anyone else had any trouble with the link?

Dixie = Southeastern US, specifically the former Confederacy. (What's bad is, there's even a monument to Confederate dead in Helena, Montana.)
