Some people -- believe it or not -- yawn when they're sexually aroused.

So the better the intercourse the more she might yawn, lol? Can't say I've ever had any yawn during foreplay (or intercourse), but I have had more than my share of the quiet ones.

Guy is pumping away and she starts yawning. He asks "Damn, is it that bad?". She responds, "No, you're tearing it up". LOL

It never fails to amaze me how strong men can be in some ways but so fragile in others!
Your wife is tired.
Nekoman the best thing you can do for your wife is when you come home from work is do a load of washing, load the dish washer or cook dinner (or failing that order take away) and run her a bath and leave her alone to have a decent soak with a glass of wine!!
That will be the best present and foreplay you could give her.

Fragile, how?

Because I suggested that a man might take it personally if his partner yawned while he was making love to her?

I honestly did not know how most females would respond -- I expected alot of women to say she must be bored, not into what you're doing.

No woman every yawned in this situation before my wife so how do I know what's going on. Ask her, yes I did.

I can totally accept she's tired. Yes, I come home from work, take out the trash. Sometimes I cook, clean etc.

You say fragile, but I'm thinking maybe sensitive to what she wants or needs. People don't always say the truth about what they want, so I'm just checking it out with the rest of the female crew here.

If a man suspects his wife is not totally satisfied in bed, shouldn't he discreetly look around and try to find out what's going on -- and why should he be called fragile for trying to please her?

Neko, dear, check out the article I referenced (my post is repeated below).

Your wife yawns because you're arousing her. It's a normal physiological response.

Yawning occurs for different reasons in the human body. Some people (like me) yawn when they're hungry. Some people -- believe it or not -- yawn when they're sexually aroused.

See attached medical article.

This is a transient phase during sexual arousal and is perfectly normal.

The only other explanation is that someone next door is reading Dr. Seuss's The Sleep Book :biggrin1:

Case closed. My work here is done.

I've tried to check it out, but the link comes up "page not found"

It doesn't work. Maybe you could paste it into a post?

So, HM, that's pretty cool. No more thinking she's bored.

Thanks for the helpful info.

BTW, do you read medical journals often?

Nekoman...I offer my most heart felt SORRY.
Never was it my intention to hurt your feelings.
You sound like a wonderful husband to be that worried about pleasing your wife to take this private matter onto a public thread.
Please forgive me,
Dragonfly

Thanks, you're so sweet.

I learned long ago that my wife's feelings matter.

When she's happy, I'm happy too.

xxoo
