A true "capitalist" system should keep costs as low as possible due to competition between various providers. Perhaps government intrusion has diminished said competition and caused prices to increase. It seems to me that, virtually anything the government runs, costs more.

Yeah, absolutely! We have a dangerous capitalist system where the elites have created a version of socialism where the masses subsidize the elites. Our system of government is manned by the same elites that make up the top 10%. They create systems where the wealth gets funneled upwards into the bank accounts of their own wealthy classes... all the while creating wedge issues as "red meat" that the illogical masses ravenously feed upon and "react" to... a Punch and Judy show if you will.

The Republicans govern for the top 1% and the Democrats govern for the top 10%... the rest of us can go fuck off.

Right. Trump the "democrat" who wants to further REDUCE corporate taxes and eliminate 80-90 percent of regulations. Trump won't do SHIT except expand upon TRICKLE DOWN economics AND the national debt. And analysts from HIS side of the aisle have said so.

And while Hillary and mainstream democrats may NOT be to the liking of purists-socialist-communists who dream of free college tuition, the dissolution of Wall Street, and the complete redistribution of all wealth, we DO have two CLEAR alternatives to choose from in a little more than a week. And, hello, NEITHER of them is Bernie Sanders.

In fact, the one who's NOT still talking about Bernie Sanders, Bernie HIMSELF, has demonstrated the common sense and maturity to endorse the candidate who IS calling for a tax increase on those making more than 250,000.00 a year.

NOT the bozo who wants to slash corporate taxes.

The economy is abysmal. It's stagnant. Change is needed. There are millions and millions of Americans who are hurting in this dreadful economy. Hillary represents the status quo. That's why all the billionaires and millionaires and Wall Street are all-in for her. They don't want change. They like things exactly as they are.

Triple the deficit, big tax cuts to the wealthy, consumers and citizens left to the wiles of unregulated corporations and creditors. This fkr doesn't even know what the ACA is. All he knows is he plans on getting rid of it. NOTHING he's proposed speaks of guaranteed healthcare for those unfortunate enough to have been born with a pre-existing condition. RIGHT. Protect the unborn. Fuck 'em on healthcare afterward.

To me, to believe Trump's words takes a leap of faith that I just cannot perform... it's not in my DNA to believe anything a professional liar has to say. He's a loose cannon...

... and he represents the GOP, not the party of Trump... electing Trump will put a Republican in the white house and by and large, the GOP are a relentless destructive force to the fabric of our nation. even though I don't support nearly any idea HIllary has and have a disdain for fuckwads like Tim Kaine, I will be voting Hillary. I don't even have to hold my nose in any way and I fucking HATE the DNC with a passion that makes my teeth chatter sometimes.

In the end, a party that governs for the top 10% is a HELL of a lot better than a party that governs for the top 1%. The party that governs for the top 1% creates a hellscape where the American dream is all but dead and available only for the most wealthy of Americans. A country that is all about the top 10% is a more humane country with an actual degree of "freedom" to it.

Under a Republican regime, no freedoms... under a Democratic regime? You get a small smattering of freedom which creates a sort of workable system where people can actually sort of pursue the American Dream.

If you have no healthcare because you can't afford it, you are NOT FREE

If you don't have an education because you cannot afford it, you are NOT FREE

Living paycheck to paycheck barely scraping by without the ability to save for your retirement... YOU ARE NOT FREE

A social safety net is required for even the smallest amount of freedom.

Freedom isn't watching whatever movie you want... it's not in buying whatever song you like... it's not having a variety of cable channels... it's not the ability to own a firearm... it's not in our "property rights"... and it certainly isn't the ability to gamble money in the stock market to your heart's content... REAL Freedom is the ability to EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN and HAVING HEALTHCARE that doesn't depend on your ability to pay the bill.

Freedom isn't a McDonalds on every corner, it's an educated and healthy family in a home that they can afford and who have meaningful and gainful employment.

THAT is fucking freedom.
