Everybody is talking about Syria, but there is a second war in this area, with way more death people and more people starving.

BUT NO ONE NOTICE

For years, Saudi Arabia is bombing the whole Yemen.
Thousands of people died and 18 million people have to suffer.

And the USA does its best to keep the killing going. They deliver tactical data, targets, deliver weapons and armour and fuel jets...
We complain about Russia, supportin Assad, bombing hospitals and killing innocents, but the USA does the same with Saudi Arabia in Yemen and no one demands sanctions against the USA.

Saudi Arabia follows a perverse tactic. They bomb chicken and cow, to eliminate any food supply in Yemen and weaken the population. That's disgusting and the USA is backing it.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/nov/03/us-military-members-war-crimes-yemen - this one really is intersting. The USA has never signed the treaties of the international court of justice... but more the opposite. In reaction to the international court of justice, the USA created a law that allows them to use every tool that is needed, to free an American that has been brought to jail by the international court of justice. So watch out Netherlands, the USA could invade you ;)

Wow..yes..Thank you for this..
Off topic a bit, but ..I get my coffee from Peet's and my new favorite for awhile now has been Arabian Mocha Sanani grown under harsh, primitive conditions in the arid mountains of Yemen, Its like $25.00 a pound! They just came out with Red Mocha Haraaz, at $30.00 for a half pound! That's $3.75 an ounce!
( from the Peet's site);
"With another year of turmoil and tragedy in Yemen, every great Mocha coffee could be the last. But our friend and coffee farmer, Shabbir Ezzi, pushes on, against all odds. Arabian coffees are difficult to obtain even in the most normal of times.
Red Mocha Haraaz is produced with another level of precision. It is from a single crop, versus mixed-age Mocha. It is from a single place—Jabal Haraaz—....
Arabia is the birthplace of coffee as a trade, with exports from the Red Sea port of Al-Mahka (Moka or Mocha) beginning in the 1600’s. We have just 30 sacks of this superb coffee to offer, ..."

So, anyway..that's that, it was just a coincidence that I just ordered another pound and saw your thread.

So, in "America's Deadliest Export", William Blum mentioned a relevant Wikileaks product;
"• 2009; A discussion between Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and American General David H. Petraeus in which Saleh indicated he would cover up the US role in missile strikes against al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen. ‘We’ll continue saying the bombs are ours, not yours,’ Saleh told Petraeus."
Obama blatantly "came out" in 2012 about it, even though it started 4-5 years prior

the iran deal made things so much worse for Yemen.
Since you refrain from explaining the reasons, may I?
The struggle in Yemen actually begins in 2011
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yemeni_Revolution

Actually, you are beating around the bush, the Iran Deal made things so much worse for Yemen BECAUSE; The Iran Deal made things less easier for Saudi Arabia and Israel.

I don't recall the leader of Yemen being invited to speak in front of the
United States Congress to speak on the topic of the Iranian Deal

Yemen: British MP visits Houthi stronghold

British politicians have called for an international inquiry into allegations of war-crimes committed in Yemen.

The comments were made during a parliamentary debate on the nearly two-year-old conflict.

And Andrew Mitchell, a prominent British MP, has arrived in Yemen, in a visit to get a first-hand look at the humanitarian situation in Yemen's northern province of Saada.

"In 2003, the Houthi's slogan "God is great, death to the US, death to Israel, curse the Jews, and victory for Islam", became the group's trademark."

Quoted from the Wiki article.

The situation is more complicated than the OP is trying to make out.

Democrats urged Obama to cease Yemen war role before Trump took over

Twenty-five House Democrats unsuccessfully wrote to President Barack Obama earlier this month to urge him to end US support for the Saudi-led campaign in Yemen before Donald Trump took over

“These airstrikes — which have killed children, women, doctors, newlyweds and funeral mourners — are likely war crimes,” the letter states. “We respectfully ask you to do the right thing before you leave office and stop the US refueling of Coalition aircraft that strike civilian targets in Yemen.”

News of the letter comes as the Trump administration signed off on its first airstrikes in Yemen, which are separate from the Saudi campaign and target different actors.

Yemen could face famine, says UN aid chief
Al Jazeera English

The United Nations aid chief Stephen O'Brien has warned that Yemen is sliding deeper into humanitarian crisis and could face famine this year.
International charities and NGOs meeting in London have urged the world to stop ignoring the crisis.
Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the region, has been ravaged by war between the Houthi rebels and forces loyal to exiled government headed by Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
A Saudi-led coalition launched a military campaign against the rebels at the request of Hadi following his ouster as the president in 2015.
Laurence Lee reports from London

migrants caught up in Yemen’s war

Increasing numbers of migrants from the Horn of Africa are trying to get jobs in Saudi Arabia – by risking being killed by the war in Yemen.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reports a 10 percent rise in migrant numbers arriving in Yemen last year.

Many from countries such as Somalia or Djibouti are exploited and abused by people traffickers.
The IOM says others are raped or have their body organs sold.

Yemen raid: US admits likely civilian deaths

The US military has admitted that civilians including children were 'probably' killed in Yemen during the first operation authorised by President Donald Trump.

The Pentagon had previously said only 14 fighters were killed in the raid against Al-Qaeda on Sunday.

But medics on the scene say the death toll was far higher, and includes children.

The US military has opened an investigation.

Yemen : US steps up raids on al-Qaeda

The US military is carrying out an intense air campaign in southern Yemen.

The strikes are targeting al-Qaeda fighters in three governorates - Abyan, al-Bayda and Shabwa.

Separately, the UN's humanitarian chief is in the country appealing for more access to civilians caught in the conflict.

Gerald Tan reports.

F'n disgusting you murdering bastards

as mentioned 6 months ago
what would likely happen with the
next USA Presidency

would be starting up on YEMEN next/again

RUSSIA has seemingly finished off the OBAMA /Eu/SAUDI killing spree of 6 years in SYRIA

not only drought/FAMINE but now TRUMP/Eu/SAUDI killings of the Yemenis as well
