Actually Griffin is the one who does it all the time – I think it's a deliberate mechanism to put "straight" guys at ease while he's trying to seduce them. I even saw a Grindr profile once that was making fun of it – it said "we can say 'bro' a lot if it makes you feel better." Still, at least it's better than calling each other "gurl".
