a little about myself first:
i am 9.5 by 6 hard
straight
freshman in highschool

a friend of mine told me about this site. we were takin a shower together after PE (no stalls) and he saw my softie and said "Hey, you should go to LPSG. org" I checked it out and asked him if he was a member. He told me he was just a lurker but he thought i seemed qualified to join.

As I understand it, a freshman is in the first year. A college freshman is first year at university; a high school freshman is first year at high school, usually meaning 9th grade.

Welcome not_small_at_all, that seems an accurate name.

A "high school freshman" is a student in the 9th grade of the US school system, which is the same as the 10th year in the UK system.

What you call "year 1", we call "kindergarten", and from that point, we're a year off from each other -- your "year 2" is our "first grade"; "year 3" is "second grade", and so on.

huh. you learn something new every day. I quit school when I was 16 so I dunno if I ever was one or not.
