I had a compliment like 6 months ago from the optician.
But i've heard far many more voice compliments since coming to LPSG and making videos. The few i've phoned with made the compliment as well. I'm flattered.
I simply love a deep manly voice. I dont have a girlie girl voice.

Secondly, you never hear your voice like other people do unless it is a recording. It's because sound travels faster in water, and so the vibrations that your voice box makes travel to the bones in your ears through the liquids of your body as well as the air, altering how it sounds. To me my voice sounds deeper than it really is.
Ive got one friend who swears i should be in the phone sex industry because of my voice :wink:

I don't have a deep voice, but I've got a Scottish lilt, which usually goes down well - second best after Irish in the polls.
My other half has a sexy deep voice. Every time he called me at work, our receptionist would keep him talking because she loved to hear his voice. It made her day. Mind you, he wasn't complaining too much - she's got a sexy Irish accent and a wicked sense of humour.
