Stan Lee.

Now, before you start laughing and calling me a geek, or a comic book nerd, hear me out.

The man created characters, characters who are different that "normal" human beings...physically, mentally, in ability...

He basically gave children a chance to learn about something discriminated against, similar to racism, sexism, homophobia and a million other things all that the same time, giving them the ability to learn tolerance.

Basically, he gave the world a chance to enjoy reading, while subconciously teaching them to respect others.

He's a wise man. Those geeks will save the earth someday, you watch.:biggrin1:

you're right.

he made comics from something light and childish to something of substance and depth while creating memorable characters and stories along the way. he contributed to the Golden Age of Comics basically.

But one mustn't forget the part Jack Kirby played in creating those memorable characters too working in tandem with Lee. They were a match made in heaven.
