Hypothetical:

If you and your man were friends with another guy, and your man noticed that the other guy acts differently when you're around, how would you react if your man made a little joke and told you, 'I think Joe likes you'?

Would you be flattered, or say, "Thanks a lot! Now I'll feel weird every time he's around!"

FWIW, just in case this isn't a hypothetical, I've already decided not to say anything at all.

I would feel perfectly normal. This happens a lot, and I'm not being immodest. It just does. These aren't his close mates. Those guys have known me forever, but Cap says they calm down a bit when I'm around. I would hate to see them when I'm not around!

But I've met some of his other friends and acquaintances, and he's told me before that they seem to take a liking to me. It's really no big deal. Seriously, how should I act on this information? I'm glad they like me. I like them. Well, most of them.

That's it. C'est tout!

As long as it doesn't bother my man and his friend never does anything I deem inappropriate it wouldn't bother me. Been here and done this also. You just know. As long as everyone is adult there shouldn't be an issue.

Isn't it normal for a straight guy to act at least a little "different" when a woman is around?

Yeah, but that's not exactly the same thing. This hypothetical guy talks and talks to the woman, but when she's not around he focuses on his Kindle. So it's not exactly like he stops belching or whatever.

I'd be flattered. It depends on who, where, and the entire situation but I've had it happen and it's flattering. It would be a little embarrassing when other people notice and bring it to my attention though.
