A genuine question..I (as the older guy in this question thread) enrolled on an online language course earlier this year. It was a mixed group, although ended up working in paired breakout online rooms with a younger guy ( I’m 50, he is 26) got on well, helped each other on assignments via email... all very normal.. although he once asked at end of lesson if I wanted to grab a beer ( this is mid covid lockdown and was busy anyway... so a polite... “like to but can’t” was my response. Anyway, in the context of language course you learn of each other’s circumstances- married, single etc. I’m married straight... he just said single, never had relationship. So fast forward to end of study meet up drink... meeting in person, I meet him and others... he’s a good looking slim guy and get the whole question in my mind vibe... is he gay ?... can’t explain it... just got that vibe and question in my mind ( this is not about any discussion about how did I assume or think that...so, don’t even open that line of questions). My question is this...if he was... is an older guy - almost twice his age - be somebody he’d even think about ? To be clear... I’m curious...and am bold enough to chat and ask him if he is gay and the kind of guy he likes.... but my question is this.... is a younger gay guy wanting an older (perhaps straight) guy.... something that exists ?
