It's taken me a while to get comfortable with kids 15 or 20 years younger than I am coming on to me with this hot sexuality. I totally don't get it. Great timing on this post .I was just talking to a friend of mine who is a year older than I about this very subject. I'm 56. We both have found the older we get, the younger the men who seem to be attracted to us. I find that younger men who are into older, usually, are more mature than their counterparts. Two weeks ago, I ended up in a foursome with a guy who was 25, one who was 34 and 35 ! It was a definately an ego booster!

Now that sounds like a wonderful party!

I have the hots for older men, I think it’s because they are the finished product of puberty and have more time to sort most of their issues out about identity and socially. Financially stable, lives alone or at least not with parents, can teach me the younger guy techniques and cool tips about life.

If we are both young, true it has its own advantages which I still love to date a person my own age but at least one person could have solved most of their problems (i.e. older man). While two 18 year old with both limited experience while on the same page can make things more hectic in life but it could also make things more reassuring that you’re both in it together.

Plus older men can sometimes be more mature and less chance of them knowing someone I know.

I think it all comes down to preference do you rather in this analogy “teacher (older guy) or a student (same age)”



But if it's love, then let there be love, if you are attracted go for it, young or old. And let if be for love.

I have found myself attracted sexually many a time to much older blokes, but it seems to be for me at least a specific type. As a teen I was attracted to guys in their thirties and forties, but of a particular type -- guys in tweed jackets who were involved in the humanities, such as writers, philosophers, artists, or music composers (not mass market writings or music).

I live in the prairies of South Central Kansas where young men do not seem to flock over the older gentlemen as I see some posting. I know there must be some in the state..... as human nature cannot be all that different from young men in far reaches of the continent....... but they are seemingly much more timid and much farther apart. I would love to meet a younger man.....say in his 20's to mid 30's.....that genuinely wants to be with an older man like myself. I am 69 and very caring and nurturing. We just seem to have a void of young men who like older, to share with.

It's been tough issue for me.

As long as I have been attracted to guys, it's been exclusively much older ones. I am talking about physical attractions and not emotional/mental ones. It's very conflicting because I find it rare that I have a strong emotional connection with a considerable age gap, yet at the same time I NEVER feel a physical connection with guys closer to my age.

That leaves me with two black and white options: look for guys I can connect better with or look for guys who turn me on physically.

Or I could hit the jackpot and find one who fits both the criteria. Patience is a virtue.
