Hi. I've never spoken to anyone about this before but after so many years it's really getting me down and maybe was a the trigger for my depression. I'm 23, skinng build, but with a very deep voice and large penis. 9 inches by 6 1/2. The thing is I never become fully erect. Not on my own, not with a girl. Not once have I ever acheived intercourse when I'm laying on my back, I can't maintain. In the mornings I'm usually semi-hard, if at all. When I'm with a gf and very turned on I can just about maintain an ercetion capable of sex, but rarely and my gfs usually resort to oral to get me off.
I haven't been to my doctors, assuming he'll say its all psychological, even though it's alwas been the same, and I'm super relaxed with my gf and she knows about my problem. I did try buying some pills of the intenet, viagra and cialsis, they looked genuine, bt had no effect.
I was hoping anyone with experience would be able to shed some light on this. Does size affect the firmness, maybe I only have the blood for a regular sized penis?
Please help, and thank you, Lee.

Lee - call to make the appointment today. You should definitely talk about this with them. No advice you'll get on this board can substitute for that. Good luck!

Why assume? Like Matthew said, go and actually find out what his/her response is. And if you aren't happy with the first response you get, then go after a second opinion. This is too major an issue to continue sweeping it under the carpet, or to solicit help about on an internet board; go get some advice from a professional who can actually examine you physically and/or run tests, so that you can put your mind/body at ease, rather than have this continue to eat away at you.

Don't be shy about telling the doc...also, I think seeing a urologist may be an additional help. Good luck!

Oh come on. Lots of peenusuz that size don't get rock hard.
They're more work to use, but technique helps a lot.

Now, I'm not saying he doesn't have a problem. He should go to the doctor. But if he knows he has those dimensions, it's not from lack of tumescence. That just may be the way his penis erects.

But don't buy pills off the Internet. They're often crap.

You have received good advice! Your doctor will want to check your blood pressure and evaluate the beat of your heart as measured in your groin... from there , if indications warrant , he may have an EKG done. Occasionally, a minor heart arrhythmia and resultant low blood pressure can be the culprit! There are simple solutions to your problem, so get moving and good luck!!

Once upon a time, it was assumed that erectile dysfunction was nearly always psychological. Nowadays doctors know better - more often than not, there is a physical cause. For example, weak erections may be the first symptom of diabetes, and when that is treated they get firm again.

Even when the cause is psychological, chemical treatment works wonders.

So I also would urge you to get good medical advice.

At 23 he should have no problem. I've seen just as many little ones that don't get hard.

Well, it's more likely to be a problem with a small one. The hydraulics are often just different with a much bigger one -- and his, unless he has quite an imagination, is well into the top one per cent.

But I should shut up. I know nothing about this case.

Of course, he should see a doctor. You're right.

Hi Guys. Thank you very much for your advice. I think I just needed a kick to get the courage to go. I've put it off for so long in case the doc tells me there is nothing that can be done to tell. And hoping things would improve by themselves, alas no. I'll look into your suggestions and speak to the doctor. Thank you

Trust everbody on this one, the doctor is the way to go. And trust me when I tell you this, he/she will not blow you off. Doctors take erectile dysfunction quite seriously, and if yours doesn't fire him and get another.

One of my former doctors was about my age and gay. He took very specific interest in my penis, not for his personal gain, but for my personal satisfaction.

He explained that blood pressure did indeed play a role in my "underinflation" and Viagra did the trick quite nicely.

I don't need it all the time, in fact I rarely take it anymore, but it's good to know it's available and hasn't crimped my style in the least.

    Go, now.

Do not take pills without your doctor's notice. Maybe it is more psycological than physical. In any event don't be ashamed to ask help.

A tip: the more you think about it, the bigger the "problem" gets.

My advice on talking to doctors. If they ignore you, or don't treat your concerns as important. It is time for a new doctor.
