Hi all,
It really does.
A few years ago, a GF and I used to go out to eat dinner and our way into the restaurant would grab a copy of the River Front Times and read Savage Love (Dan Savage's sex/love advice column).
Some of the letters to Savage Love were hilarious. It kept us up on the current lingo like "figging", "pegging", "felching", and "snowballing".
Sometimes, it was a good warming up for what was to happen after dinner.
Well, I'm currently sans girlfriend, so at least I can keep up with the slang by watching YouPorn. Ya know, I just read it for the articles, right?
Ah... it's great. I picked up the term "fishhooking" yesterday. Today, I picked up on the abbreviation "GFE". And just a few minutes ago, reading the humorous comments people leave on YouPorn, I can now use the phrase "cum dodger" with a complete understanding of its meaning.
Unfortunately, Savage Love just doesn't have the same appeal like it did 2 to 4 years ago. Bummer. Maybe it's too political now, or maybe it lost some its salaciousness.
I don't know.
I guess I'll have to stick to YouPorn to advance my sexual lingo from now on. Darn!
:biggrin1:
