it's not a movie, but a series based on the NFL that ran for a year called Playmakers on ESPN. The NFL put pressure on ESPN to stop airing the show because it was so realistic. it touched upon players being gay, drugs, gold diggers, contract issues with mgmt and players, egos, etc;
