TBF I think it's usually the guy in a couple that asks to try this sort of threesome, not the woman. Being one of 2 or more men having sex with the same woman is a pretty common fantasy amongst men, even those that consider themselves straight. If a woman wants a threesome, she'll usually want the 'special guest' to be a woman.

If she asked to try a threesome of either sort I'd be open to the idea, but I'd want to talk over the 'why' with her first.

If she wants to broaden her sexual horizons and experience new things that aren't possible with just one guy, then cool, I'm up for it.

If, on the other hand, she is using the 'threesome' as a sort of compromise to get me to agree to let her fuck other people, or a way to fuck other people she can rationalise as 'not cheating' then nah, and we probably need to be having a bigger conversation...

Done it several times. It's not a big deal. After all she has entertained my FMF fantasy a few times before.

If it's someone who is just a sex buddy I wouldn't care, but if it's someone I'm in am emotionally invested relationship with, no I wouldn't want to share her with anyone, even another woman.

Well, to me this is a no-brainer since my wife has already had several other men, mostly one-on-one foursomes with the other guy either alone in another room or while myself and the guy's wife watched (and played ourselves) and the much rarer threesomes where the other guy and myself had sex with her without interacting with each other. So since we have already done this there would be no problem with me agreeing.

But as @steve2727 pointed out, it is usually not the woman requesting this arrangement, but the man. In our case, we initially started out in the Lifestyle due to her wanting to experiment with another woman and our first few encounters were limited to just that. It wasn't till later on that either one of us wanted to see her with another man; either within the context of the male half of other couples or MFM threesomes.
