If you know your MBTI type, please indicate it in this poll. This is a companion poll to the thread. Mods feel free to merge them if possible.

If you don't know your type, you can take a quick test here. The true MBTI is much longer.

    I scored INFJ …The Mystic. (Ooh, I like it.)

    The scores were 22, 62, 62, 33.

    I am a:

    • slightly expressed introvert
    • distinctively expressed intuitive personality
    • distinctively expressed feeling personality
    • moderately expressed judging personality
The best profession for me was writing/literature, which is what I’m doing.
    So bingo.

    Hmmmm.

Had the full Meyers Briggs done at work years ago. I'm an INTJ. Our motto is "Improvement is always possible." Didn't realize I was a Mastermind though. Now I just need a cruel and ambitious assistant and I can start making plans for world domination.

Do a Google search and you'll find plenty of places which have it online. They do charge for doing it though because the real thing is still in copyright.

The important thing when taking the test is not to imagine yourself when you're at work or in any other situation which have to perform for someone else. Answer the questions as honestly and independently as possible.

The MBTI is one of the most useful psychological tests I've ever taken. More interesting is talking to and interacting with other similar people at various MBTI-type oriented sites and forums. All of a sudden it's like everybody understands you! It's a blast and frequently very amusing.

And do give yourself at least 2 hours to do it. You want to take your time and it is a long test.

    moderately expressed introvert (50+%)
    moderately expressed intuitive personality (30+%)
    slightly expressed thinking personality (1%!!!)
    moderately expressed judging personality (50+%)

*I took the test this afternoon, but retook it this evening and turned into an INFJ (1% thinking turned into 12% feeling, plus introversion went up) - maybe I'm just tired tho, lol.

Here's one of the best summaries I've ever seen --

ISTJ (Most Responsible) God, help me to begin relaxing about the little details tomorrow at 11:41:32 AM
ISFJ (Most Loyal) Lord, help me to be more laid back, and help me to do it exactly! right!

INFJ (Most Contemplative) Lord, help me not to be a perfectionist. (Did I spell that correctly?)
INTJ (Most Independent) Lord, keep me open to the ideas of others, WRONG though they may be.
ISTP (Most pragmatic) God, help me to consider people's. feelings, even if most of them are hypersensitive.
ISFP (Most Artistic) Lord, help me to stand up for my rights! (If you don't mind me asking.)
INFP (Most Idealistic) Lord, help me to finish everything I star...
INTP (Most Conceptual) Lord, help me to be less independent, but let me do it my own way
ESTP (Most spontaneous) God, help me to take RESPONSIBILITY for my own actions, even though they're usually not my fault!
ESFP (Most Generous) God, help me to take things more seriously, especially parties and dancing!
ENFP (Most Optimistic) God, help me keep my mind on one thing ... LOOK,A BIRD! ... at a time.
ENTP (Most Inventive) God, help me followed established procedures today. On a second thought, I'll settle for a few minutes.
ESTJ (Most Hard Charging) God, help me to try not to RUN everything. But, if you need some help, just ask!
ESFJ (Most Harmonizing) Lord, give me patience and I mean NOW!
ENFJ (Most Persuasive) God, help me to do only what I can, and trust you for the rest. Do you mind putting that in writing?
ENTJ (Most Commanding) God, help me slow downand NotrushtrougheverythingIdo Amen!

Want to go back to the quiz or the self assessment?

Just note the type you scored and you can look it up anywhere. The MBTI owners have a site that can help interpret the score for you.

Have you ever taken the brain quadrant assessment? (I forget the "official" name.) It was quite revealing also.
