This happens to me a lot. I think I just get used to seeing my dick all the time, and it probably has something to do with the angle you're looking at it from. I'm sure if it were right in your face, you would thing it was big.

Gotta agree. Looking down at your own cock doesn't give you the same perspective as others standing facing you - or for that matter feeling it inside of them. I'm certainly not 8". Yep. I think much of mens' neurosis about cock size is due to their lack of comparables (gay dudes excepted), the perspective on their own, plus the tricks in porn make them seem larger.

The perspective is probably the most interesting. If bigger/smaller is about an inch here and an inch there, it can be easy to miss, especially if the rest of your body is large.
