My answer on both questions is - not at all. I'm with my girlfriend for 8 years now and introducing sex toys into our sex life was nice improvement. She even brings some of her dildos on our travels.

My partner has seen all my toys. I did a show and tell when we started living together. He has zero issue with any of them. I likely wouldn't get with anyone who projected their insecurities onto others to the point that an inanimate object bothered them.
