This is something that amuses me yet gives me butterfly feelings in my stomach (anxiousness);
How do you see your perfect life, career and parner?
Its interesting to see a variety of ideas as you can piece some brilliant ideas and have a "tweaked" goal, even if you've passed the chance to start a new career.

I see myself as a plastic surgeon living in a new age appartment with a husband who is of business orientation with dark, manly features and a devoted romantic. Id drive either a mercedes, MG or a eropean car of a sports appearance and dress elegantly, especially with a white, fitted doctors coat when on duty. Oh, and sex would be close to perfect, no kids though, maybe a little in the future. I would be around 35

I'd be sitting on a throne, surrounded by several men with killer six packs, commanding vast armies to futher my conquest and domination of the human race, while laughing as I keep my enemies from the past in a small little cage where they are treated lower than the raw, spoiled livestock chunks that they get to eat.

...

Why do you ask? :D

Don't try to give Dr Rock nightmares.

My perfect life.. is to do pretty much what I do now, only receiving greater recognition and being paid more for it! :rolleyes:

Life has it's sorrows and moments of great extacy. It is in constant flux. Happiness is not like a bus stop where you arrive at it and get out. To be content with having sustanance and covering would solve a lot of unnecessary anxiey. My perfect life would be one in which I was fed clothed and had a roof over my head and people to love and all the while not worrying about how this was all going continue.

I'd be writing enough to actually support myself doing that instead of having to give so much of my time to other people to cover the rent.

Oh, and a partner who loved me even if we disagreed would be nice, too.

A pithy retort.
My statement, while outwardly puerile, illustrates philosophical views about the futility of achieving perfection.

The thread is about an "idealized" situation, not about experiential realities.

FWIW, my life is already close enough to perfect that I don't spend much time worrying about how it could be better. But I guess it wouldn't be all bad if my mom were to die in a freak gasoline fight accident.

Also it would be pretty sweet if I met my female equivalent. We'd love each other. It'd be great.
