I am not a religious person, or come from a strict religious family. Do I believe there is a higher power that holds it all together, yes. Have never attended church,(except for the usuals) read a religious or spiritual book not even the bible......... From a very young age I've always felt there is some prescence, energy, 'something'.......Do I need to find answers as to what it is. no. At times it is strong, other times not so. To know it is there, be able to use it wisely, have respect for it, whisper thanks now and then.....works for me.

I pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ both morning and night and several times in between. It helps me when I recognize a greater power, giving me an opportunity to seek guidance and to seek forgiveness for falling short of expectations.

In return I get the comfort of hoping that one day he will remember my name when we finally meet.

Can't really define it. I grew up Catholic and I still wear a crucifix and Mary medal, that's the necklacce showing in my pics. However, I do not believe in the Bible, although I know it well, nor do I support any church or ecumenical mission.

I would say that I lean towards Unitarian Universalism, with great freedom given to personally defining beliefs and practices, if any.

I have had no relationship with god and had not intended to have one, until I saw my high school boy make the eemaculate reception in the super bowl and watched as he gave all his glory to god. Maybe Ill jump on board now.

I believe in God, and I love him dearly. I don't really see him as being family or friend. I guess in a way, I sort of view him as the "wise old man" of the village. But to me, he's more of an energy than a being. I think he's eternal love. I don't fear him, I look up to him. I never worry about whether or not my actions will cause him to be angry with me, because I know that I'm not here to make him happy or to gain his approval... I was pre-approved when he created me. I don't really pray or make a concerted effort to communicate with God, but I should probably try to do that more often. I always know he's there, though.

I really like Meg's way of viewing God, especially when she said she was pre-approved.

I believe in something infinitely larger than me. Call it God, the universe, the immensity or whatever you want. I haven't quite figured it out and it's possible I never will.

I couldn't disagree more. If there is godness, it is as clear in you as it is in all creation, in the universe and in a slug. Though obviously, we would rather see it in the slug
