No, I'm not really kidding. This is the lpsg site with an average length of over8'' (so they say). I cannot conceive of having 5.5'' - nobody I have known has one that small and no women I have known has. I just don't believe they are out there, and if they are, need some -er- support.

Hapi, maybe we can share a cab!! Average size in the real world is about 5.5 to 6.5!! We've discussed this before on several different threads, why doesn't everyone get it??? Average on LPSG is obviously gonna be way skewed because, well DUH- it's a site devoted to larger thatn average penises!! That being said, not everyone is perfectly honest and I'd assume some of the numbers on here are inflated. Even so, I wouldn't call it a medical condition unless it was 4" or less. However, if it's a personal issue as in confidence or realistic ability to please your partner, there are several members here on the board who have undergone PE or tried several male enhancement drugs. I would look into those options.

I think I can relate to tripod. I *hope* he doesn't truly believe that 5.5 inchers do not exist. (afterall, I doubt any man will downplay the size of his penis) But it is rather hard for the men on this site to believe they exist. Keep in mind we grew up with the sizes we were blessed with. Moreover, most men on this site believe the men in their family were also well endowed. Not to mention Porn. (I used to think that porn stars were average, because they didnt look bigger than me, and I was obviously average) Therefore, it should not be inconceivable that we feel that 5.5 is small. (afterall in my case that is the FLACCID size.)

Guys...5.5" to 6.5" IS the norm, not the exception. If you lined up 100 men, I would be willing to bet that about 90 of them would fall in that range. We are the exceptions, not men with perfectly good 6" tools. Just look around the locker room or nude beach the next time. Smug, critical and a superior attitude does not become us. And if I may be so blunt, this from a gay guy who has encountered A LOT OF MALE PENIS' during my years of personal "research". :blink:

thats right kinkguy i always laughed to myself hearing some women say they dumped (or whatever) a guy because he was 5-6 inches.....that basically would mean she dumped or will dump the majority of guys she encounters (lets say 8 out of 10 guys) :huh: i still have no idea why a person around that size can feel bad about himself

I am an average sized guy, kinda thick, but nothing like most of you guys here. I would have to say my size bothered me before I actually started to become sexually active, but since I've been having sex I don't really think much about it. I have what I have. I've had women tell me I was an incredible lover. I am not bragging, but I am just letting all you guys know that no matter what size you are you can be a great lover. Just find out what your partner likes and work at those things. Be attentive to your partner, because at the end of the day sex is supposed to be an enjoyable experience for both parties. The guys here who are bigger might look more manly or masculine, but the true measure of a man isn't between his legs. It's between his ears and in his chest. I am not saying I wouldn't like an extra inch or two. I think all men would. All I am saying is penis size should not define who you are.

When you think about it, it is obvious why there is no definitive statistical study of penis size. To be scientific a sample would have to chosen totally at random from the entire population of mature men and the subjects would have to be measured by force if necessary by a third party. Needless-to-say, they would have to be forced,l if necessary, to become aroused in front of the third party. In the real world, small dick guys would tend to refuse to participate and certainly refuse to get hard in front of the 3rd party for objective measurement.

Most of the studies that show 6" or so as the median or average are based on self-reporting, usually of the sexually active, and might be exaggerated. The reports of sexually active women, gays, and prostitutes may skew the results toward the large also, because small guys are reported to be quite inactive sexually and many report being afraid to go to prostitutes even. A recent survey of urologists claimed 5.1" was average, but how do urologists know? Do they jack guys off? Do a high per cent of smaller guys go to urologists for advice?

I don't know about 5.5 guys for sure, but 4.5 guys like me are definitely handicapped. Medical probelem? Well, maybe a testosterone starved, late slow puberty in some cases (like mine), but in other cases, guys seem to have a strong, fast puberty, get all the other strong male characteristics, but just have a "small penis" gene.

Well, I doubt that people with small penises are somehow "handicapped", testosterone may not be the issue, after all, would you cuss a bodybuilder about the size of his dick? He'll have more T flowing through his veins than a lot of men, regardless of dick size.

I know if it goes down to an inch or something, it's a medical condition and testosterone therapy helps when in puberty, but considering the sizes and shapes of the men here, we aren't all raging with hormones and violent mood swings!
