I put my tree up a little earlier than usual this year simply so i have less to do in preperation later on in the month. I always decorate myself, my fave part of the dressing up of the home. Feel free to post pics of your trees too.

Not to be outdone :)

Not as pretty as last year, but it'll do.
I had this up right after Thanksgiving - I know...Im slacking.
The base is 72" wide, and the height is 90 Inches.

The 40' pine out front still isn't done. With Teen temperatures and snow, may not get done without help from friends or family.

Who wants to help me?

I love your tree, I think it's better than last year!

Great tree, visual feast indeed!

This is the monster I'm going to attempt to conquer today.

It's grown another couple of feet, so not sure if I have enough lights. Each year I have to add about 6 sets to cover it.
I may end up short this year (No pun intended)

Snow tomorrow through the rest of the week. Now or never.

Wow now that's a tree I can't wait to see a picture of it decorated.
Nudeyorker, love your flat!!!
can I move in with u?:):):):)
Thank you, but the three of us are already a bit cramped there, people are already laying claims to their room in Honolulu where there is much more room.

Almost 250 of DVDs? Yours is more orderly than my collection, my good friend. I would have them in terrible shelves that still don't fit right. I congratulate my friend on this.

I just got shit from my old boss. He stopped by and said "WTF" Where's the lights on the tree.
And the neighbors earlier this weekend...
And the other neighbor.....

I'll scout out tomorrow after work and pick up another 10 boxes of lights - if I can find any on sale.
I use a 15' Extention ladder + me at full reach (9'ish) + 6' painters pole + 10' extention pole duct taped to the painters pole....swinging in the wind, doing desperado trying to wrap the lights to the top.
