didn't say always happens. said can/does happen.
i don't often speak in absolutes.
and all kinda shitty happens. i know folks shitty has happened to.
folks need to remember porn is about money. and folks making money will do anything to make more.
randomly.. i've worked as a rigger on heaps of BDSM films/fetish shoots. is not oh, i bet porn is a horrible business. i know it is.. cuz i've seen young dudes show up to solo shoots, only to have it turn into a "yeah, we're thinking unprotected bareback DP"
i've taken lady friends to the docs of repeat UTI, near to chronic yeast infections, and prolapses. is a miserable life, until ya get to the highend of porn.
take one looks at the suicide/OD statics to porn.. then try to tell anyone, with a straight face, how bad things don't happen to people. how the business doesn't exist to take advantage of people.
randomly: ya sound like a salesman for the industry.
the agency: is friendly to the studio, not the performer. i've overhead these phone calls... goes something along the line of "i dont' wanna do this", "this is chance to make real money... if ya don't i won't be able to get you work again"
again.. not every case, but happens often enough to make sketchiness a definite tone of porn.
so why does this happen, ya down words "there are thousands of beautiful women"
performers are disposable, and if ya are in the industry ya know this is gospel.
eta 100: is fair to say considering the outcome, the folks behind the camera were not professionals/legit. the drinking wouldn't have been permitted. no crowd of 80+ would have been on set. and the folks closest to the action wouldn't have been security/performers there to keep shit calm.
the only thing that didn't go according to plan was the woman leaving. :irked:
