Everybody sleeps with their curtains fully closed except me.
Showers are cubicles with doors. Theres an area for changing and mirrors can give views to showers but again everytime I've been there it's been people changing in the cubicles and draping clothes etc over the doors

I had the same at passenger. It felt busy but my room was near empty and the showers hardly ever had anyone else in them when I was there. Yet the redeprece/bar area was always packed with guests (you can tell as they wear those key bracelets) as was the breakfast room.
I don't mind beds with curtains too much. They certainly help to block out light when idiots feel the need to come in at 3am and turn on the huge ceiling light just to take their shoes off. You may not be able to see midnight wankers behind curtains but you can sure as hell still hear them and anyone wanting to be an exhibitionist will still sleep with them open.

I am going to Berlin late April and was wondering if I could get some advice on which hostels have communal or open showers and preferably male only dorm rooms.
I kinda like the idea of open showers and see other guys in the shower maybe even see them wanking if I'm lucky. Love staying in dorm room setups (male only obviously) and being naked, maybe even letting them see that I'm naked, or that I'm hard.
I know the open and communal showers tend to come with a great lack of any sanitary hygiene, so if possible places that aren't horribly filthy.

Gay Hostel Berlin... you can't go wrong with that one...
Thanks man. I'm just not sure if I'm quite ready for what that place sounds like. I kinda like the risk and taboo of it to some extent (like obviously I dont want to hurt or offend the people in my room) but I like the idea of it not being known that its gonna happen if that makes sense.
Is there anywhere else you would recommend??
