Thanks man. I'm just not sure if I'm quite ready for what that place sounds like. I kinda like the risk and taboo of it to some extent (like obviously I dont want to hurt or offend the people in my room) but I like the idea of it not being known that its gonna happen if that makes sense.

Is there anywhere else you would recommend?? :)

gotcha... then One hostel berlin might be the place for you

Cheers man. Is the name One Hostel?? What are their showers like?? ;)

never been there.. i'm more open and like the idea of knowing i don't need to care about the others seeing me naked as well... at the gay hostel must of the times I spent the time naked and have quite a lot of fun in the showers ;-)

The Gay Hostel in Berlin really is what you're looking for, mate. It's not like it's one big orgy or something. Most gays are actually pretty discreet about their hookups there, and if you spend even a little bit of time in the common area, you'll find a camaraderie that I've never experienced at any other hostel. Both times I stayed there, I ended up having great conversations and making great friends; the hookups in the shower and in my dorm room were just the cherry on top.

I had the same at passenger. It felt busy but my room was near empty and the showers hardly ever had anyone else in them when I was there. Yet the redeprece/bar area was always packed with guests (you can tell as they wear those key bracelets) as was the breakfast room.

I don't mind beds with curtains too much. They certainly help to block out light when idiots feel the need to come in at 3am and turn on the huge ceiling light just to take their shoes off. You may not be able to see midnight wankers behind curtains but you can sure as hell still hear them and anyone wanting to be an exhibitionist will still sleep with them open.
Just tease a little. Di it like i did... leave the curtain open and watch a porn to get in the right mood. Tease your nipples and secretly check the room. As for my stay i noticed the guy on the upmost bunk opposite noticing what i was doing and they really enjoyed the show ;)

Does anyone know if the All In Hostel still has open showers?? And do they male only dorm rooms??

ALL in is a pretty shitty hostel. The showers were open only one and only visit in 2017 but the place is not great. The showers were in dire need of renovation and most on my floor were actually broken. My dorm was mixed.

This was my experience. I don't know why everyone kept trying to go to the straight (by majority) hostel in Berlin, when this one offers exactly what this thread is about with only gay men. I wish eery majority city had a hostel like this for us.

To everyone else, don't be scared it's a great experience. Met some HOT guys and nice friendships the two times I've been.

You sure dude? Just checked them on hostel world and it says mixed or female only dorms, and nothing about communal showers it hints there's bathroom in each room.

I don't know about Plus Hostel. "Gay Hostel" is good with gay men atmospfere...:)
But quite good is YHA International Hostel in Berlin. Has male only dorms and communal showers and baths. Good location, +breakfast and cheap.

Hey guys, need some advice. I am off to Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona in June. Would love to know if there are any hostels with open showers? Or where the best places to get naked are?

Thanks!

Madrid - Posada de Huertas -10 male dorm, and shower on 3 floor. Barcelona - Casa Kessler -6 male dorm. I'll go to Madrid for Gay Pride 4-8 July.

Staying In Geneva next week for a few days. Hostel options seem few and far between here, perhaps an reflection of Switzerland in general. Not a cheap placeto visit, so not that popular with backpackers etc. It'll be my first time in Geneva but not my first time in Switzerland.

Anyway, I've chosen the city hostel as it looks pretty good. Any other recommended hostels in or around the city or make Geneva?
