Maybe this hostel has no open showers but it's also nudist so dudes are free to be naked all the time !

Why don't we keep all the conversations restricted to this forum? Taking to telegram might not be convenient for everyone. We are already a small niche population trying to have a good time. Communal showers are shrinking worldwide. It is necessary for us to have a one online group that is not mobile. Just my 2 cents

When the people here stop only asking for suggestions all the time and no making the effort to look on previous post and more material is posted... then we can get back to this website. telegram is working for everyone, you just have to do the work around and it works for Apple users like me!

YHA Cape Byron. Male dorms and showers with peep holes and good reflections.

Hosteling wise: YHA in Oz is generally the best to stay in.

Just found this forum as I was looking share real experiences in Youth Hostels with Communal Showers.
I went to YHA Central London two years ago and shared a male room with other 5 young guys, but all too shy to get naked in front of others. Just "enjoyed" the mixed smell of their feet/socks/shoes. Also, no action at night and communal shower on ground floor was always empty.
So I'm thinking about getting new experience in London for Xmas and found here that Generator Hostel is quite famous among the users of this forum. What do you think about it? I didn't find male dorms on the web so how could you feel confident not to get a mixed dorm with females?
I also booked 3 nights at Gay Hostel Berlin from Jan 3rd to 6th at 8-beds dorm and wish I could find some fun with other guys both in the communal shower and in the bedroom eheh...

I think YHA central never had communal showers...
